Peggy Lynch has been a dedicated Full-Time Broker since 1982 and still loves helping people with their real estate needs. As a Colorado native, born and raised in Wray, Colorado, Peggy has spent most of her career working in Estes Park and the nearby communities. She has been married 38 years to John Lynch, a woodworking craftsmen and wonderful husband. They have 2 sons. Shawn is a civil engineer and is married to Kellie who is a Veterinarian. Shawn and Kellie live in Asheville, North Carolina and have a daughter Marissa Kate born October 4th, 2006. Who of course is the cutest granddaughter on Earth. Chad and his wife Leah are both computer gurus in Seattle, WA and Chad works for AT&T.
Back in 1988, Peggy started Rocky Mountain Realty Co., built a new complex for their offices in 1995 and purchased the RE/MAX franchise in 1997. She has been the President of the Estes Board of Realtors in 1991-1992 and continues to be a member of the Association of Realtors both nationally and in Colorado.
Peggy has been very active in the community as a member of Quota Club since 1987. She has held offices from Secretary, Treasurer, Director, and President. The five-state District 9 honored her with "Quotarian of the Year." It is not unusual for her to have crutches or wheelchairs in the back of her car delivering hospital equipment from the Quota Loan Closet. Peggy´s involvement in Quota Club has included aiding in the purchase of six ambulances, attending international conventions and assisting in too many projects to list. Peggy is also a volunteer with the Town of Estes Park as a member of the Housing Authority. Recently she has helped with the new Take Pride in America Plan putting Estes Park as one of the first cities in the State to receive this award. In the past, Peggy has volunteered with the VITA program doing volunteer income tax assistance for the elderly.
Peggy is dedicated to both family and work, but still finds time to stay on top of her real estate education. Being educated in this field is very important in serving the needs of her clients. Here are some of the designations she has earned:
ABR: Accredited Buyer Representative-The ABR designates that a Realtor is certified to act as a buyer's agent, meaning they represent the buyer in the transaction.
CRS: Certified Residential Specialist-CRS designation holders are residential salespeople specializing in listing properties, selling, and investing, as well as mortgage financing and computer applications.
GRI: Graduate, Realtor Institute-The highly respected GRI designation indicates a high level of advanced education in a wide variety of areas.
QSC: Quality Service Certification-The QSC Certification indicates that a Realtor follows a prescribed service process that ensures the delivery of top quality customer service, accountability, reliability and satisfaction.
SRES: Senior Real Estate Specialist- These professionals specialize in senior citizen´s issues and their financial planning in regards to real estate.
*E-Star Realtor-Trained in the execution of energy mortgages and in the use of the E-Star home energy rating system in the marketing of homes.
CLHMS: Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist-Successfully completed special training designed to build skills in the marketing of luxury homes and estate properties and is a member of the The Institue for Luxury Home Marketing.
RRS: Recreation and Resort Specialist-Successfully completed certification that speaks specifically to the unique needs amd practices of recreation and resort property sales and management with the Worldwide Recreation and Resorts Sales Council.
Business Accomplishments are in the line of Real Estate. Peggy has achieved the International Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006. The RE/MAX International Lifetime Achievement Award was established in 1993 to honor outstanding levels of achievement. RE/MAX Sales Associates who qualify for this award have been affiliated with RE/MAX for at least seven years and have served over 50 transactions a year during their RE/MAX career. In 2004 Peggy received the RE/MAX Chairman's Club Award. This award is the highest annual individual award a real estate agent can receive. She was honored with the Hall of Fame award in 2002, which is a lifetime achievement award. These awards can not be accomplished without the outstanding service she provides for her clients and customers. Many of her past clients have become long-time friends because of that service. The majority of her business is generated by referral further confirming her reputation for high quality service. She truly is "Above the Crowd."
